-What do you think of when you hear the name 'Scotland'? Golf? Tartan? Bagpipes? The Loch Ness Monster?These are all part of Scotland - but there is much more too.
Scotland is a country in a country. It's part of Great Britain, and of the United Kingdom. Scotland is the oldest country in the world. So it has a lot of great history. The first scots is the people north of Hadrian's Wall were called Picts by the Romans. WE can still see some of their story in their pictures in stone.
Edinburgh is one of the old city with many important and interesting buildings. It is built on hills. Theren are many famous streets, and the most famous town is 'the new town'. In the town, a lot of famous Scottish tartans shop. I love tartan. All Scotish family has own tartan.
Glasgow is Scotland's biggest city.There are lots of things to do at night in Grasgow. I went to there 3 years ago. There were a lot of intreating places.
Scoyland is a small country. But for millions more across the world, Scotland is very important.
I like history and culture of Scotland. J.K.Rowling wrote Harry Potter and the philosophere's stone in Efinbargh. I want to go there and study more about Scotland's history and landform.
