The story begins with Mrs. Rogers words.
“I am late for a lunch date,” she said.Amelia Bedelia thinks that dogs and cats will fall like rain. Of course, such surprising phenomenon doesn’t happen. However, Amelia Bedelia finds the kitten.
“But I must find an umbrella before I go. They say it is going to rain cats and dogs.” (p. 5).
She picked up the kitten.Amelia Bedelia starts to take care of the kitten and then a lot of funny happening cause. Can she care the kitten safely? Readers have to feel uneasy about happening caused by her.
“You look like a tiny tiger,” said Amelia Bedelia.
She scratched it between its ears. The kitten purred and purred.
“You even sound like a tiny tiger,” said Amelia Bedelia.
“So Tiger is what I’ll call you.” (p. 12).
This time, I really enjoyed looks of the lovely kitten. The kitten is tiny, so sometimes he is in the bag and cardboard. It looks very cute. In addition, the last scene of the story, the kitten finds his mother and brothers. The kitten playing with brothers very pretty. After reading this scene, I beame happy to see them. At first, the kitten was alone and he seems to be an abandoned kitten. He looked poor. I worried about him. However, finally he can find his fimily. I am really glad about that. Amelia Bedelia wants to care of the kitten, but she is glad to find his fimily. All characters become happy!! I am satisfied this ending.
